Casey Garcia, 32, was sentenced to six months probation, 100 hours of community service and a $700 fine, according to media reports. According to investigators, the woman came to the high school, pretended to be her daughter and attended several classes during the day.
Garcia later shared his “invasion” on social media in an attempt to show how easy it is for an adult to sneak into a school unnoticed.
“We need better security in our schools,” he commented.
Commenting on the decision, Casey’s lawyer said that he did not understand why his client was sentenced.
“He just wanted to emphasize the need to increase security in schools,” the lawyer said.
