In addition to preparing a development plan, Vladimir Putin ordered “the creation of an advanced scientific infrastructure, the creation of human resources and the conduct of scientific research” in this field. The National Research Center Kurchatov Institute will lead scientific research in the field of nature-like technologies.
According to the decree, the government must evaluate this sector in Russia and determine the volume, as well as sources of financing for the implementation of the development plan.
The concept of “similarity to nature” is based on copying nature in the development of modern technologies that are integrated into the natural resource cycle and do not harm the environment. The world’s first complex for studying this area appeared at the Kurchatov Institute in 2009.
