A man who regularly beat his pregnant partner was given a suspended prison sentence in Perm 12:36

A Russian man hit his pregnant partner with a coffee table and his sentence was suspended. In this respect reports URA.RU refers to documents on the website of the Sverdlovsk Perm Regional Court.

The court heard the man systematically beat the woman because he knew she could not resist him. One day, the attacker hit the victim’s legs with a coffee table and then punched him in the jaw. The next day, the defendant grabbed his pregnant friend by the hair, threw her to the ground and started hitting her in the stomach and head.

At the hearing, the man fully admitted his guilt and asked for forgiveness from the victim. He also said that he was still in a relationship with her and that he was involved in raising his daughter.

As a result, the court gave him a three-year suspended prison sentence for the crime of torture.
