It all happened on September 30 in the third district of Marseille. Several armed men attacked an 18-year-old boy. He was driving at the time and stopped at a red light. At that moment, the kidnappers’ car came next to his car and people with knives came out. They took the victim out of his car and pushed him into their own car. Eyewitnesses raised the alarm, but the kidnappers managed to escape.
The young man was later found on Edouard Vaillant Boulevard, less than two kilometers from the scene of the crime. He was bleeding and begged witnesses for help. His life is no longer in danger.
Police managed to find two bloody knives and a gun belonging to the attackers. As stated, the victim was a person who had previously come to the attention of internal affairs bodies. Saturday’s attack could be a showdown between underworld figures, according to reports.
