US Senate to pass a financing project without Ukraine’s support 02:31

Democratic Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut said he believes the Democratic-controlled Senate will agree to exclude aid to Ukraine from the government’s funding project to avoid a shutdown. TASS.

“The Senate will approve this project to expand government funding,” commented Murphy, who had previously participated in a closed-door discussion of the project.

Fellow Republican Tim Kaine of Virginia added that there will be a vote in the Senate in the near future on the project to increase government funding.

Formerly US House of Representatives accepted A project that does not provide aid to Ukraine but will finance the Council of Ministers for 45 days.

The document now needs to be approved in the Senate, where Democrats have a majority. If US President Joseph Biden does not sign the bill by midnight on October 1, the government will come to a halt.
