In Estonia, a man who wanted the “I am Russian” sticker to be used on cars was fined 500 Euros. This was reported by RIA News With reference to the press service of the Nõhja Police District.
In September, a photo of a black BMW driving through the streets of Tallinn with “I am Russian” and “Anti-Nazism Team” stickers began circulating on social networks. Local residents called on the police to deport the owner of the car from the country.
Then a BMW driver with the stickers began to spread calls for similar inscriptions to be used on cars. As a result, many cars with such stickers appeared on Tallinn roads.
“The man has repeatedly urged people on social networks to paste stickers on their cars: “I am Russian”, “Department of Combating Nazism”, “Strength in Truth” and other symbols supporting aggression. In the statement made by Nõhja province, it was stated that the police fined him 500 Euros for inciting hatred.
Estonian law enforcement officers pointed out that if such activities continue, a lawsuit may be filed against the man. According to the police, such stickers are allegedly provocative and aim to divide society.
