As explained by Second Vice President and Labor Minister Yolanda Díaz, care reform what emerges in this PERTE will be “from the perspective of aging”.

At the press conference after the meeting of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Díaz valued the social economy represents 10% of the country’s GDP, It employs more than 10 million people and includes 43,000 companies. In addition, he stressed that his measures are “anchor populations” in unpopulated and rural areas. “It’s an economic vector that’s almost balanced with tourism,” he said.

And within this social economy, as Díaz explains, “A great revolution pending in the country and in the 21st century” gathers, which is “care”..

In this sense, the purpose of the Executive “approaching care from an aging perspectiveThose who do not want to spend their stay in residences can “do it at home or with their families”, which includes “advanced formulas” that “modernize” the sector and “advanced formulas” based on “the desire of the people”.

The second vice-president of government therefore referred to shared housing, care in their own space or home environment.

And in this sense, Referring to the need for “professionalization of health services”, to consider the “quality of life” of these people, to “digitalize services”, “to use innovation and technology in the field of care” and to use them with a “feminist vision”.

The 800m euros will also be used to “resize companies” and “internationalize them”, which are “basically cooperatives”, according to Díaz.

Díaz stressed that, in her view, she was a “unique PERTE” with the “Spanish Government character” that, as she listed, was “supportive”, “feminist”, “sustainable” and “working”. against noise to improve people’s lives.
