The County Court condemned two years in prison to a 43 year old man sexual abuse in Alicante daughter of a minor relative, at the age of 12 and 13. Although the accused pleaded not guilty at the trial, the sentence by the Third Section convicted him as the perpetrator of the continuing offense of sexual abuse of a minor under the age of 16, and is prohibited from approaching or communicating with the victim for seven years, in addition to a two-year sentence.
Likewise, the court granted an injunction. six years probation and disqualification for six years from any work involving regular contact with minors.
The defendant must reimburse 8,000 euros for non-pecuniary damage to the minor and an additional 990 euros for the costs incurred in the neurological and psychological care of the victim.
The events declared to be proven occurred twice between 2018 and 2019 at a family home in La Alcoraya and a third time at the defendant’s home. The accused was: Husband of first cousin of father of 12 year old girl and proven violations were committed over three different weekends.
