Survival expert Eduard Khalilov commented on the video where a tourist encounters wild bears in the mountains of the Murmansk region and frightens them with a scream. In an interview with socialbites.ca, Khalilov said that this method can work, but sometimes it is better to freeze at the sight of an animal. According to the expert, bears don’t always attack people because they don’t see them as their food.
“The bear initially does not want to kill and eat people. If we take Kamchatka, bears graze there just like cows. People are fishing, bears can be 30 meters away from them, and they can even become fish. When animals meet humans in the wild, they sense danger and leave. When the meeting is sudden, the animals attack and the bear senses the danger. The bear attacks, defends itself and protects its family and cubs.
