23 people rescued from a burning circle in a burning forest in Bashkiria 13:49

In Bashkortostan’s Beloretsky district, firefighters were stranded in a burning forest, forced to abandon their equipment and seek rescue in the mountains, where they were spotted by a rescue helicopter. In this respect informs Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Region.

Firefighters put out the fire for a week near the villages of Aznagulovo and Katarysh, while part of the group was engulfed in flames. They left the equipment, went through the mountains in one direction, where they were not cut off by fire. In the smoke, firefighters managed to fire a rocket launcher so a rescue helicopter could see them, and everyone was evacuated.

The forest fire in the Beloretsk region spread rapidly due to strong winds and embraced 320 hectares. While there is a danger of the fire spreading to the residences in the residential areas, the fire was localized by the Ministry of Emergencies, eight kilometers from the two villages.
