Rains create a new “island” in Primorye 05:28

Due to heavy rains in Primorye, one of the villages was disconnected from the mainland – we are talking about the village of Sadovoye in the Border Region, reports DEA News With reference to Primavtodor.

“A settlement was cut off. Unexpectedly, in the Pogranichny district … there were heavy rains, Grodekovo – Baranovka – Sadovy road. Sadovy village, population about 50 people. There is an emergency bridge in front of the settlement, a temporary fork has been made. Right now there is a very serious overflow along this side road. “Traffic is closed for both cars and trucks,” said Anton Gavrylyshyn, Primavtodor’s chief engineer.

According to him, by the evening of Friday, June 9, the water should go, and the employees of the department plan to restore the passage after that.

In the early afternoon on Thursday, June 8, Vladivostok partially underwater: Heavy rain started in the city accompanied by a hurricane strong wind.

The city center and some other districts were flooded, people were submerged up to their waists.
