Zelensky and Scholz discussed the strengthening of the air defense system in Ukraine 17:32

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that he discussed the issue of strengthening air defense systems with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. He announced this on his Twitter account.

“We discussed the implementation of the agreements reached during my last visit to Germany and the further strengthening of Ukraine’s defense capabilities, especially our air defense,” Zelensky wrote.

Previously reportedThat Scholz and Zelensky had a phone call. During the dialogue, the parties discussed a number of issues, including aid from Western states to Kiev. As noted, Scholz promised Zelensky that support for Germany will continue, both within the European Union and outside the state’s allies. The press service of the German Cabinet added that the leaders discussed various aspects of the situation around Ukraine, including military moments.

Before that Scholz declarationThere can be no question of freezing the conflict in Ukraine. According to him, the conflict should end on the condition of a “just peace”, the terms of which are supposed to be determined by Kiev.
