Specialists of the Department of Computational Physics of the Institute of Physics of Kazan Federal University (KFU), with the support of the Russian Science Foundation, developed an innovative methodology for determining the strength of amorphous metal alloys based on the use of artificial intelligence. “We trained artificial neural networks to analyze the composition of already known metal alloys with their strength properties – elastic modulus, yield strength, tensile strength and others – and to find a correlation between these properties and physicochemical properties.
