Explosion of Popocatepetl volcano leads to closure of airport in Mexico 04:07

According to the newspaper’s report, the airport in Puebla, Mexico, had to suspend its operations due to ash emissions from the Popocatepetl volcano. Perfect.

Puebla Governor Sergio Salomon announced that Cerdan Brothers International Airport was closed due to volcanic ash falling on its runways.

The governor also announced the temporary suspension of baseball games at the local stadium, which has a capacity of approximately 10,000 spectators. Salomon also urged the townspeople to avoid cooking outside.

In 11 municipalities of the state, face-to-face classes in educational institutions were canceled due to volcanic ash emissions.

It was previously reported that the Catania airport collapsed due to the eruption of Mount Etna on the Italian island of Sicily. It is cancelled all flights. Cloudiness remains in the peak region of the volcano and therefore observations are difficult. However, according to experts, the eruption comes from the southeast crater.
