“The Mars program should not consist of one launch, but two or even three. Because I think that in order to be able to change seats somewhere on distant worlds, it is necessary to send some kind of spare ship nearby, in this case, ”Alexandrov said.
In his opinion, no less important than the technical condition of the ships should be the health of the astronauts – so that during the expedition they do not get sick or have the opportunity to recover. Ensuring radiation safety on board is also important.
Alexandrov added that humanity has already “stayed too long” in orbital space stations and it’s time to take a step forward.
