Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted on a bill that provides a six-month probationary period for citizens recruited under a contract in the Ukrainian armed forces. This was announced by the deputy of Rada Oleksiy Goncharenko in his social networks.
“The Rada made changes in the performance of military duty and service (No. 8169). “For citizens conscripted for the first time for contract military service, there will be a mandatory exam for up to six months,” said Goncharenko.
He noted that the soldiers who successfully passed the tests continue their military service under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) or other military formations.
