“An additional 31.6 billion hryvnia (about $867 million – socialbites.ca) from the budget of the State Special Communications Service will be directed towards the purchase of drones for Ukrainian defenders,” the official said.
He said drones supposedly serve as consumables, with the Ukrainian Armed Forces (APU) losing about 10 to 15 devices per day on average, he said.
“The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine plans to establish 60 new attack companies that will use unmanned technologies,” said the head of the State Special Communications Service. According to him, in March this year, the top ten companies will be created and equipped, which will immediately begin to perform tasks.
According to Shchigol, drones will be purchased mainly from Ukrainian production.
