WSJ explained the reasons for the heavy losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at 16:00 in Artemivsk

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) suffer heavy losses in Artemovsk (Ukrainian name – Bakhmut) due to the lack of the ability to evacuate the wounded and problems with the roads for transporting equipment. The newspaper writes about it The Wall Street Gazette.

According to the WSJ, asphalt roads leading to the city no longer exist and not all vehicles can move on alternative roads.

“Ukrainian troops are suffering heavy losses in Bakhmut, especially since asphalt roads are no longer available for transporting ammunition and evacuating the wounded, and alternative dirt roads are impassable for many wheeled vehicles,” the newspaper says.
