The Mass-Voll movement was one of the organizers of the action. The Mass-Voll website says the demonstration was directed “neither against Ukraine nor against Russia”.
“We defend humanity and peace among all peoples,” the movement said in a statement.
According to the Berner Zeitung, the action called for “the immediate lifting of sanctions against Russia and the return of Switzerland to 100 percent neutrality”.
