Baza: A policewoman in Yoshkar-Ola accused her husband of beating her husband for years 13:18

A Yoshkar-Ola resident accused her police husband of beating for years. The woman appealed to law enforcement, but they refused to file a criminal case. reported Baza is on Telegram channel.

The victim claims to have been beaten by her husband since 2018. According to the woman, sometimes bullying took place in front of the spouses’ children. In November 2022, the man took all his valuables from the house and fled in an unknown direction. Thereupon, the woman went to the police and reported the theft and beating. The man’s co-workers first filed a criminal case, learning that he had pawned jewels at a pawnshop and even returned some of it. But later the article was reclassified as “Subscription”, after which the criminal case was closed.

The couple divorced. The woman applied to the prosecutor’s office with a request to check the legality of refusing to open a criminal case. The department detected violations. Now the victim’s ex-wife is facing criminal prosecution.
