According to the minister, foreign experts from Sweden, Norway and Iceland will train Ukrainian mine clearance instructors in Lithuania. The Swedish minister said that according to the plan, they will train 48 Ukrainian trainers, each of which will train another 100 soldiers in turn, resulting in 4.8 thousand trained Ukrainian engineers.
Jonson stressed that this would be “an important contribution to strengthening their talents”.
The training will include Swedish instructors from the Swedec Military Ordnance and Mine Clearance Center in Aixx. The training will take place in several stages over 30 days.
