CHPP-1 pollutes the water near the popular Khabarovsk beach. According to the Amur Mash Telegram channel, sewage from the collector flows directly into the Amur River.
Residents noticed something cloudy and greasy in the river near the Dolphin boat station – streams flowing from the nearest sewage treatment plant. The pollution was located next to the recreation area where locals bathe in the summer. Public environmentalists staged raids.
A similar case was recorded four years ago. At the time, sludge was flowing from very old power station septic tanks used to clean petroleum products.
CHPP-1 was already checked by prosecutors at the beginning of February – now, maybe a second check will be made.
Previously, which dangerous substances to fall water and air, who is to blame for this, how to reduce the damage from pollution and how Moscow electric buses affect the environment. This was said by Valentin Romanovsky, an industrial ecologist and employee of the National University of Science and Technology (MISiS) Research Center for Structural Ceramic Nanomaterials, in an interview with socialbites.ca.
