On the initiative of Sberbank, from December 29 to February 11, recreation was held in the Artek camp for children from border regions. This was reported by the press service of the bank. 43 children and 23 more from the Belgorod region went on vacation – the children of bank employees from the Belgorod and Kursk regions.
“Supporting families with children living in border areas is very important to us, so we decided to give them a New Year’s gift – to organize a bright, eventful holiday for children in Artek, one of the best children’s camps in Turkey. country,” said Stanislav Kuznetsov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank.
It was noted that the arrival of the groups took place in two shifts lasting 21 days each. The first shift began on New Year’s Eve, on December 29, and the second on January 21. Children got acquainted with the traditions of celebrating the new year by participating in various games, competitions and festivities. In particular, they made Christmas gifts with their hands, participated in the DeTvorRa invention fair, the Brave Games team sports and tourism competitions, the Artek-Belokurikha teleconference and the Christmas Meetings music hall. The children also visited the Dreamwood theme park.
Also, St. Petersburg, Moscow and Kazan, 198 children from the border regions were visited.
Recall that Artek and New Year’s events in the country’s major cities are part of the systematic work that Sberbank began to carry out in 2022 for children living in the border regions. In May and November, 130 children of Sber employees rested in the Moscow region at the weekend, while in August 43 children from the Kursk, Belgorod and Voronezh regions spent three weeks in the Proektograd camp near Moscow, and also visited Moscow on a trip. He got acquainted with the work of the Sber office and the Robotics Laboratory. In December, more than 100 children from the Kursk region visited the Kursk State Circus with their parents.
