The purpose of this agreement is the out-of-court settlement of labor disputes through mediation and arbitration actions provided in social justice through the Valencia Community Business Mediation and Arbitration Court (TAL).
TAL is a joint institution established by the most representative trade unions and commercial organizations under the Ministry of Sustainable Economy and providing legal personality and administrative support to the system of extrajudicial resolution of labor disputes in the Valencian Community.
In his speech, Salvador Navarro underlined the success of consolidating the system for autonomous resolution of labor disputes. “It contributes to maintaining a good working environment in the company and has a significant economic impact, because in most cases the compromise resolution of the conflict requires the strike to be cancelled. In 2021, 258 mediation transactions were carried out and thanks to the agreements reached, it was possible to cancel more than 800,000 hours of strike for an economic value of more than 16 million Euros.”, he assured.
Similarly, the head of CEV reiterated the importance of social dialogue as a formula for consolidating a modern labor relations framework. “Through dialogue and social agreement, We equip ourselves with a socio-labor framework to increase the competitiveness of our companies. and to stimulate economic activity for the benefit of the general interest,” he concluded.
Rafa Climent, on the other hand, congratulated the social institutions for the work and joint dialogue and expressed support for the function run by “to reach agreements that improve the workplace for both workers and the business community”. Labor Arbitration Tribunal: “If there is an opportunity to mediate any issue that may arise in the business area, it is always better to resolve it through TAL”.
