‘Ghostbusters: Released Souls‘ is an action-packed, asymmetrical multiplayer video game developed by IllFonic, the solver team behind such well-known productions as ’13th: The Game’ or ‘Hunting Grounds’ that has not ceased to captivate fans since its premiere on October 18. The prediction is that the trend will not decline, at least as long as free content continues to be distributed that brings variety and fun features to the model.

Among its notable aspects, the inclusion of an unprecedented playground stands out: “Facility”. The extended story recounts how the resort completely closed its doors in the late 1980s, but was soon bought by a group of private investors with plans to renovate and reopen the resort. Design Director Jordan Mathewson highlights some elements of the set: “It’s clearly outdated, which gives it a unique feel compared to other sets. The workers are simple civilians and began restoration work at the facility until they learned why it was abandoned in the first place.” He also explains how it provides an immersive gaming experience thanks to the aesthetics of the wide variety of corridors and rooms. “There will be some very interesting ways to use the new regions on this map to the benefit of every player, whether it’s Ghost or Ghostbuster.”

This new type of ghost, which we can see while swallowing metal in ‘Ghostbusters: Beyond’, is a very popular character, and even became the most requested character from users in IllFonic.
