Bloomberg: US plans to supply $2 billion worth of long-range artillery to Ukraine 10:09

The US presidential administration could supply Ukraine with longer-range artillery and ammunition with a new $2 billion military aid package. It has been reported Bloomberg with a link to the source.

The new aid will include artillery pieces and shells. According to preliminary data, the aid package to Kiev does not provide for the supply of long-range missiles.

According to the publication, in recent days, the United States and Germany have moved away from their policy of refusing to supply battle tanks to the Ukrainian side.

Other details of future weapons deliveries to Ukraine are not given at this time, the information is not officially confirmed.

Currently, a special operation of the Russian Armed Forces is underway in Ukraine. It was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022. According to him, the purpose of military action is to demilitarize the neighboring country and to navy the authorities.

The decision to run the operation became the justification for new sanctions against Russia by the United States and its allies.
