“If Germany decides to transport 14 tanks to Ukraine in January, it must order new tanks in January. But Germany has been transferring materials such as artillery and air defense systems to Ukraine for 11 months, and at the same time does not make new orders, ”complained Stenzel.
He stated that it will take a year or two for the finished Leopard 2 tanks to be delivered to the customer.
According to him, Europe will need at least 100-200 new Leopard 2 tanks in the next two to three years.
