War Robots: Frontiers‘, the Pixonic shooter video game continues to grow and thousands of active players have access to the update”rogues”, as you already know if you’re a follower of the format, stays true to the roadmap promised by the development team as it progresses through early access.

In case you don’t know the recommendation, it’s a completely ground-breaking multiplayer shooter for PC and next-gen consoles, using the Unreal Engine 5 graphics engine to encourage tactical confrontations with massive customizable robots. It went into early access last November and is expected to reach general release for PlayStation, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC in late 2023.

top mark

Among the content to be added with the update, the new map stands out: Mont. There are markers there that are easily controllable from the start of the game as they are close to each team’s starting areas. However, players must conquer the lantern on the hill as soon as possible and defend it with their teeth and nails. The attacking team has a tactical advantage, as structures at the top can be attacked and destroyed to fall on enemies.

The update also includes two new Robots, three weapons that can be used on various machines, and two ability modules. New robots Raven and Loki add deadly tactics to the fight. Raven attacks with a special ability that unleashes a barrage of bullets and is the best choice for a blunt attack. Loki, on the other hand, deceives his opponents with hologram-shaped traps and stealth abilities. It may not be the most flexible robot, but its distraction skills are unrivaled.

More weapons and new modules

Regarding the arsenal, new high-tech weapons promise to increase firepower and introduce new ways of fighting: Scatter allows you to launch sonic attacks that can deal damage through solid objects at a distance; Shocktrain fires precision lasers that damage an additional nearby target on its first hit. Dragoon is designed to shoot unaware enemies from long range.

Finally, there are two new skill modules to help you change the way you fight: Blink increases mobility with a quick move; The Passive Shield, on the other hand, protects your character with its absorption ability, while converting the incoming damage into replenishment for your robot. The Tricksters update also includes localization improvements and limits framerate (set to 60 FPS by default) to prevent overheating on certain GPUs. The store and level up rewards have also been updated.
