Doctor explains which cup of coffee might be unnecessary 03:18

Atlas clinic geneticist Alexander Reznik said most people shouldn’t drink more than three cups of coffee a day. Agency reports “Hitting the Primer”.

“However, it is important to choose filter coffee, since unfiltered coffee (brewed in a coffee pot or otherwise) contains coffeestol and kahweol, which raises bad cholesterol levels and may be associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease. Filter coffee, subject to the norm for the body, is beneficial, ”the doctor said.

He added that caffeine is a powerful stimulant and for most people, the conditioned fourth cup of coffee would be unnecessary.

Ekaterina Novikova, formerly doctor naturopath, nutritionist and biochemist saidmany choose various substitutes for coffee, but they are not always safe and some of these drinks contain more caffeine or are completely contraindicated for people with, for example, arthritis, depression or varicose veins.
