Pentagon orders a diagnostic system from Boeing for Abrams and Bradley 5:30 pm

According to the publication, the contract amount is $ 92 million. At the same time, only one combat group of the armored brigade testing the NGATS saved $ 26 million in five months on repair and diagnostics.

The system is expected to be integrated into ground combat platforms such as M1 Abrams tanks, M2 Bradley and M1296 Stryker infantry fighting vehicles, as well as M109A7 Paladin and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters.

Former Russian news agency RIA Novosti showed, because the Russian T-80BV tank, adopted in 1985, outperforms the American Abrams when driving on snow. A video comparing the two tanks was posted on the agency’s Telegram channel.

In the video, an American tank unsuccessfully tries to climb a snow-covered hill, but slides downhill. At the same time, the Russian tank overcomes the snow slope without visible effort.
