Voronezh governor dismisses the director of the boarding school where a student died due to negligence 21.12.2022, 22:57

The governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, dismissed the director of the Buturlinovsky boarding school for mentally retarded children, where a 16-year-old student died due to neglect. DEA News.

“The first results of the execution of the instructions of Governor Alexander Gusev regarding the Buturlinovsky hostel: an order was signed for the dismissal of the director of the institution, Nikolai Skolznev, for negative reasons,” said the press service of the regional government.

The dismissal is connected with an incident that occurred on Tuesday, December 20 – a 16-year-old student was found dead near the Buturlinovsky boarding school for mentally retarded children. The Investigative Committee of the Voronezh Region opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – negligence resulting in the death of a person by negligence.
