“According to the sales results in many companies, Emirates ranks first,” the association points out, noting that the country has surpassed Turkey, which had traditionally been the leader in previous years.
ATOR has announced that the demand for New Year’s travel to Emirates has increased by 50% compared to 2021. Experts attribute the increased interest in the destination to the availability of direct flights (including from regions), short flight duration (only five hours) and a comfortable climate.
According to the association, most Russians book trips to Dubai (40% of all sales), followed by Ras Al Khaimah, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
ATOR also noted that the prices of tours to the UAE increased by about 10-20% in 2022, but despite the price increase, tourists prefer high-end hotels for the New Year.
According to tour operators, a one-week vacation in a four-star hotel, including New Year’s Eve, will cost from 109 thousand rubles – 275 thousand, for two people in a five-star hotel.
