Raytheon CEO Greg Hayes said the US and NATO allies are working with a number of Middle Eastern countries to hand over NASAMS air defense systems to Ukraine. His words were reported by the broadcast Policy.
“NASASMS systems have been deployed in the Middle East, and some of our NATO allies, along with the United States, are currently negotiating with several countries in the Middle East to send them to Ukraine using NASAMS,” Hayes said.
Previously at the Pentagon reportedHe said US authorities signed a $1.2 billion contract with Raytheon for the purchase of NASAMS air defense systems for Ukraine. It was announced that the contract includes not only air defense systems, but also related equipment, spare parts and additional services.
