It is the top category of the directory and is currently valued by 13 Spanish businesses. Quique Dacosta adds second place for Deessa in Madrid. Pepe Vieira doubles up with avant-garde Galician cuisine, and Juan Carlos Padrón becomes the first Canarian chef to be awarded two Michelin stars. Good news for the 34 businesses that launched their first star, some promising youngsters and others not so much.
