Ombudsman of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Darya Morozova said she applied to the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross after a video of the killing of soldiers captured in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) was published. Transmits words TASS.
“It is difficult to comment on the video of the execution of soldiers who surrendered in the settlement of Makiivka in the Luhansk direction without going beyond the normative vocabulary. “I have formally appealed to the UN and the ICRC regarding the fact that this video was published,” Morozova told the agency.
The Ombudswoman emphasized that she expects an objective judgment from international organizations.
“If the authenticity of the image is confirmed, we demand an appropriate response from the international human rights community to the heinous war crime committed by representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Morozova said.
