Risto performs on ‘Got Talent’ and sends a message: “When you love, even if you’re wrong…”

After eight editions on the air, ‘Talented’ continues to amaze his audience. at the talent show that aired on Tuesday, November 1st. telecinco He delivered an unexpected performance with a lot to talk about. Risto Mejide took a few minutes off from the parked role of the judge to join the ranks of the candidates appearing on the show stage.

After sitting behind the curtain, next to a piano, he explained why he decided to take the plunge: “I’ve been in this business for years and I always thought if I came here it would be to give a message”.

He then began talking about the life of Johann Sebastian Bach, who learned that his wife had died after returning from a trip in 1720: “Something happens in less than 17 months that she reappears in society happily married to someone nearly twice her age.”.

“That’s when he composes The Well-Tempered Clavier. What was unknown until 2011 is that the piece was composed by him. The distance between him and her is 16 years, the notes between this Do and this Mi are exactly that. Two separate notes that someone decided to unite forever through the greatest work of all time,” he added, as he began to play the piece.

“What Anna Magdalena Bach did, apart from showing that it can be played any way, was to remind you that when you love, even if you make a mistake, the distance between these two notes doesn’t matter.”Risto concluded his speech in front of the feelings of his friends and the applause of the public. It should be noted that the show was recorded months ago, before the broadcaster broke up and Laura Escanes went public.

“Can you see my tears? I’ve been saying it for years just to see you on stage with the piano. I’m so touched and so happy, I love you”, Edurne told Risto after the performance. While Paula Echevarría thanked him for “giving us this moment,” Dani Martínez gave a funny twist: “I’m going to tell you something that I both like and dislike, the thing I don’t like is that you’re much more talented at many things than I am”.
