The Finals is a multiplayer team-based shooter where players battle in destructible arenas. The goal isn’t simply to eliminate opponents; it’s to earn money faster than rivals. Players locate safes on the battlefield or loot money from others and then transfer the funds to their personal accounts. This guide explains how to customize appearances in The Finals.

How to open the customization menu in The Finals

Follow a few simple steps to access personalization options:

  1. Open the participant menu.
  2. Select the fighter and click the Edit icon.

    Style menu

Style controls the overall look of the character, including the face, hairstyle, and clothing. Most adjustments live in this menu. The Finals offers a vibrant, colorful combat experience, so bold character designs are encouraged.

    Self-expression menu

Self-Expression, also called Expressions, includes two groups: Emotions and Spray, which mark territory on the map.

You can equip up to four emotes at once. To do this, pick a favorite and click the Add to wheels icon, then place it into one of the slots.

If desired, one emotion can be used at the round’s start. Select the Equip As Intro option to enable this.

      Animal menu

Pets sit on the character’s shoulder. They are purely cosmetic and do not affect gameplay.

How to customize the appearance of a weapon or gadget

      1. Open the participant menu.
      2. Select the character and click the Edit icon.
      3. Find the weapon you want to customize and open the Customize menu.
      4. Choose a skin, sticker, keychain, or alternate animation, then click the Equip icon.

      How to get customization items

There are several routes to unlock items in the game:

      • Earn experience in matches to receive in-game currency usable in the Store.
      • Complete Battle Pass missions; a list of rewards is found in the description.
      • Watch official streams on developer channels. Viewers earn points per minute watched, which can be redeemed for codes usable in the in-game store.
      • Enter free codes found online. These promotional codes often have expiration dates.
      • Trade unused skins with friends at or above level 10 to get preferred skins.
      • Purchase items with real money in the Store.

A handy tip: if a Season Pass has already seen purchases, skip the Battle Pass moment and grab the Season 1 Starter Pack from the store. It costs 1,150 credits and delivers three skins, an emote, and a sticker at no additional charge.
