Spiderbots are collectibles found throughout Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Players gather them during exploration, and unlike many side tasks, their locations aren’t shown on the map. The guide below details where each spiderbot can be found to streamline the search experience.

How many spiderbots are there in the game and why are they needed?
In total, there are 42 spiderbots scattered across New York. The map helps by displaying how many remain in a given district and how many have already been collected. Each spiderbot rewards the player with 150 experience points and 100 parts. The concept nods to the Miles Morales storyline, with the relevance revealed later in the game.
How to search for spiderbots
Search does not begin immediately. Players should wait for Ganka to report a strange signal. This occurs during the mandatory mission “Spy Spider?” in the first act, fairly early. An entire section of the menu opens, showing all collected bots and those still missing.
To avoid missing bots, focus on the signal they emit. In addition to a distinctive sound, the signal appears as a large translucent ball, resembling a soap bubble, visible from a distance. The bots themselves glow pink, but the signal can flicker in and out, and the bots do not appear on the map, making them easy to overlook.
Most bots rest on walls or rooftops, though some float in the air and pose a greater challenge.
One way to simplify the search is to upgrade the Movement branch of the suit to Omnivision. The upgrade notes that parts boxes appear on the minimap, and more importantly, spiderbots become visible. This enhancement does not alter the city map as a whole but helps catch bots suspended in space while gliding above the streets.
A second tactic is to avoid overly fast travel. As the game progresses, all New York districts come into view, and bots become easier to spot along the way. Moving at a measured pace increases the chances of spotting bots tucked away on high ledges and in midair while traversing between areas.
Hovering at higher altitudes is especially productive. It becomes possible to spot some bots from afar that vanish when flying between buildings along the web-sling route.
All the spiderbots in Central Park
Spider Man 1602
There are several rock formations closer to the park’s center. The right-side building reveals the rocks, which sit a bit lower than the surrounding terrain.
Iron spider
In the park’s northern portion, on the left, a tunnel allows car passage beneath the green area. The spiderbot is mounted on the inside of one arch. Note that this road does not appear on the general map; it only shows up on the minimap.
All spiderbots in Williamsburg
Look for a tall silver building with satellite dishes on the roof. It lies in the northern part of Williamsburg, west of a small park. A spiderbot clings to one side of the building.
Moving south in the same area, the spiderbot drifts in the sky above the skyscrapers. Find the tallest building and ride the air currents to its top; the bot will be visible at once.
All the spiderbots in the financial district
The spiderbot can be found in the stretch between two bridges. It sits beside a long fire escape on a gray building.
Classic Mysterio
At the center of the financial district, the spiderbot hovers in the air. A high-rise jump or a strong gust of wind will be needed to reach it from above.
All the spiderbots in Chinatown
All three spiderbots are located diagonally toward the bottom of the area.
Spider Armor MKII
Search a Greenwich-area campsite. The landmark is a graffiti image featuring twenty-sided cubes with a bone perched on one corner of the cube.
The spiderbot rests on a wall between two buildings – one orange, one gray. The orange building sits higher than the gray one. The bot clings to the gray wall nearby.
Mister negative
The bot hovers in the air near the Williamsburg bridge. While in Chinatown, glance toward the bridge and look to the right.
All the spiderbots in Queens
In northeast Queens, where the neighborhood meets Astoria, a row of single-family homes sits along the interior facade of a white building opposite a garage. The bot is located there.
Spider-Man: Web of Spider-Verses
Head to Kneesborough Bridge. Stand with your back to the area, face the bridge, then shift slightly to the right. Several basketball courts lie ahead; one bot climbs past them.
Southwest Queens features another bridge that leads north toward Little Odessa. At the area’s western edge, near the end of the Queens district, the bot rests in the left building with many fans visible from the bridge entrance.
All the spiderbots in Greenwich
Spider Man 2099
This bot appears as the first reward during the Spy Spider mission. Early assistance from Ganky helps keep the search smooth and trouble-free.
YYY
Graffiti depicting Jonah Jameson dominates the northern part of the area; a spiderbot threads along the wall beneath the inked image.
In the far northwest, a building marked Modern Art sits by the river. Approach from the water and pass beneath the large rectangular columns to reveal the bone overhead.
All the spiderbots in Harlem
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
Keep to the right of Central Park and enter Harlem just beyond the upper-right corner of the Greenway. Two large square buildings form a narrow alley; the bot lies on the right wall within that alley.
South of the cemetery, a park sits between houses in the northern part of Harlem. A prominent mural on one building shows a book and an African-American woman; the bone is nearby.
Southwest Harlem contains a park with a central building crowned by a white dome. On foot, circle the ground to find a bone on the wall near the dome.
All the spiderbots from Little Odessa
Crimson spider
Two large pipelines dominate the northeastern corner. One of them bears a bone marked on its surface.
Spider-Man vs. Electro
Stay along the eastern edge and head south toward a construction site. A tall building wrapped in scaffolding hosts the spiderbot on one of its walls.
All Midtown spider bots
In the southern part of Midtown lies a large park near the center. A tall white building with brown window coverings hides a bone on its wall close to the roofline.
North of the previous bot sits the Empire State Building. The spiderbot clings to a wall beneath the observation deck, near the upper sections of the structure.
To the northeast, a major road lined with trees leads to a large building with a sloped triangular roof. A wall jump on the opposite side of the ramp reveals the bot among the glass or solar panels on the roof.
All the spiderbots on the Upper East Side
Arachnid Junior
The lower-left corner of the area, a glass skyscraper with a large balcony offers a vantage point. From that balcony a bone is visible high on the wall above.
Spider-Man Noir
The second bone sits a bit higher and closer to the center. It lies on the wall of an inconspicuous brick building, with Avengers Tower as a reference point. From there, head west.
Spider Armor MK III
A major street traverses the northern part of the Upper East Side. The bot is in view along the buildings to the east near a rooftop billboard.
All the spiderbots on the Upper West Side
In the southeast corner, a diagonal street starts at Central Park. Going a bit north, the tall skyscraper on the green border hosts the bone on its black roof area.
Nearby, a large gray tower sits with darker lower windows and lighter upper windows. The bone rests on a wall under the roof.
Secret Wars
The Upper West Side features a main downtown street. In the northern section, a long courtyard on the west hides a topmost bot on a high, gray-to-brown building.
All the spiderbots in Hell’s Kitchen
Again, a central street divides the area—toward the bottom, the building near a church holds a spiderbot on its wall.
Near the center-west, three large chimneys mark a spot where a bone rests on one of them.
The bot floats mid-air near the area’s center. Reaching it often requires a higher vantage point, best achieved from Midtown using air currents and wings.
Future Fund
A tall northeast corner skyscraper with a square, tapering top hosts a round rooftop tower. Climbing delivers access to the bone on the wall behind the tower.
What is the reward for finding all the spiderbots?
After all bots are collected, Ganky provides the final coordinates. Upon reaching the location, players trigger a cutscene referencing the Web of Universes. The reward is 1000 experience points and 400 parts.
