Escape from Tarkov recently rolled out a substantial update that introduces a compact but highly practical new map called Epicenter. The added area is not sprawling, yet its layout matters a lot for quick evacuations. The guide below begins with a fresh map overview and then details every evacuation exit currently available, helping players plan routes and exits with confidence.
Map of the location Epicenter
Players will naturally end up exploring Epicenter as part of the latest progression tasks. Although the space is not large, it rewards swift awareness: memorize the key exit points, understand how to reach them, and practice the quick transitions between zones. The map encourages tight, efficient movement and rewards players who map escape routes in advance.
There are five evacuation points in total on this map: two primary, immediately accessible routes and three additional options. The following descriptions outline where each exit sits and what is required to depart from Epicenter.
Ministry of Emergency Situations
- Requirements: No.
The entrance to this exit is one of the most favored options on Epicenter. It sits toward the bottom left area of the map. To activate it, simply approach the corner near the bank building. In the parking zone you will notice a temporary emergency camp and an ambulance waiting, ready for a swift departure when the moment is right.
Descent into the Nakatani Cellars
- Requirements: No.
This exit is tucked inside the Natakani structure and is straightforward to locate. If approaching from Mira Avenue, take the underground highway toward the Capital Insight high-rise. Be mindful of a hazardous zone between the Nakatani and Empire clusters and avoid running through it. Enter the building on the first floor, move between the elevators, then turn right to reach the basement exit.
Police cordon
- Requirements: 5000 rubles (depending on the buyer’s reputation).
The evacuation point lies between the Terragroup and Empire complexes. It acts as a classic taxi exit—a black SUV appears with a driver who must be paid to leave the location. The vehicle may appear at random, similar to other maps, but during observed play it showed up consistently in robberies, making it a reliable option to anticipate in many raids.
Vredelaan
- Requirements: Green fire.
This exit sits among the safer options on Epicenter. Before heading there, players should know a couple of essentials. First, locate a green flame and activate it at the signal point. The item needed to do this tends to appear with high reliability on a corpse just before the exit.
Next, pick up the flame, advance a short distance, and release the fire into the air. It is possible that other players claim the flame first but choose not to use it. In that case, if the signal appears elsewhere, players may need to pivot to a different exit to ensure a successful escape.
Scav checkpoint
- Requirements: Joint exit with Dikiy.
If a rival raider comes along who also needs a quick exit, this is a convenient choice. The checkpoint sits on the east side of the Terragroup building and provides a practical route when cooperation or a swift break is the priority.
