A fresh action roguelike arrived yesterday, August 11, bringing Cult of the Lamb to Steam where it instantly set a new player-traffic record, exceeding 60 thousand online on its first day. The title has drawn strong praise from critics, with several favorable reviews highlighted in this update.
At present, Cult of the Lamb holds an 87 percent rating, signaling solid reception from players and outlets alike.
In Cult of the Lamb, players guide a possessed lamb who was once spared from death by a mysterious savior. To show gratitude, the lamb seeks loyal followers and ends up assembling a vast cult.
“Traverse the forest’s enigmatic corners, rally devoted followers, and spread your message to the masses to establish your cult as the sole power,” the game description proclaims.
Players anticipate four secretive regions, each brimming with hidden dangers, secrets, and distinctive enemies.
As gameplay unfolds, the player gathers resources to erect various structures. Rival cult leaders must be defeated, leading to intense battles. Defeating bosses rewards the hero with new powers, eventually enabling the lamb to rise as a formidable god-like figure.
Cult of the Lamb is available on Steam for 699 rubles and can also be purchased on GOG, PS Store, Xbox Store, and Nintendo eShop, expanding access across major platforms.
