Shadowheart from Baldur’s Gate 3 of Cinderys

Chances are Baldur’s Gate 3 will be remembered as one of the standout games of 2023. A broader conversation about its strengths appears in reviews, and the cosplay world has embraced its characters in full force. Leading this wave is a craftsman from France known as Cinderys, who brought Shadowheart to life in a striking costume. In the game, Shadowheart serves as a trusted ally to the protagonist, making her a natural favorite for fans and cosplayers alike.

Eleanor from Atomic Heart by N1mph

The Eleanor costume, a standout upgrade from Atomic Heart, resonated deeply with the community. Recently, it was reimagined by Natalya Ishkaeva, known as N1mph, who presented her interpretation as a sweet dress painted with Khokhloma patterns.

I love retro style. When the teaser revealed Khokhloma-adorned additions, the dress idea didn’t come to mind right away. I added a leather collar and leash, and I envision Eleanor as both gentle and passionate, a mix that translates well on camera.

Widowmaker from Lisa Akumura’s Overwatch

When Overwatch 2 arrived, reception on Steam was mixed, with some players citing the story campaign as less ambitious and the monetization approach as aggressive. Yet Widowmaker continues to captivate cosplay communities. Fox Akumura chose her as a fresh focus, delivering a striking Widowmaker costume that stands out amid shifting trends.

Many years ago, Widowmaker sparked a personal curiosity about cosplay. It wasn’t until mastery of crafting techniques that the costume finally came to life. The result is here for fans to admire.

DC Comics Harley Quinn from KittiLittl

Kitti Littl’s Harley Quinn cosplay draws inspiration from a Funko POP figure, with the photo set evoking Barbie-like adventures. While new cinema plans around Miss Quinn remain uncertain, the cosplay community stays engaged with the Harley legacy, including the animated series currently in season four.

I’ve always loved the classic Harley look and consider it among the most canonical interpretations. I already own a Miss Quinn cosplay from the 90s animated run. When I spotted a white and pink Funko POP aesthetic, the excitement returned. The outfit was completed two years ago, but the shoot finally happened this summer as others were chasing Barbie glamour, and I circled back to Harley with renewed energy.
