The strongest equipment in this installment centers on a trio: a special outfit, a dagger, and a sword. Access to this gear comes after collecting ten mysterious shards earned from the Order’s thugs. These shards are then used in a secret vault. Players will encounter this vault during the main campaign, though they can enter earlier if they wish to explore ahead of the story progression.
How to uncover the secret vault in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
The search for the vault can begin right after the prologue ends. The target area lies to the north of the map, near a lake to the east of Anbar. A map guide helps pinpoint the exact route and landmarks.
Activating the synchronization point allows for easy return to this location at any time. The vault involves diving into a lake and swimming forward until an underwater cave is reached. Exiting on the other side places the player in a chamber with three doors. Behind each door lies a legendary equipment set with its own unique bonuses.
Clothing Milad grants the wearer a blinding aura for all enemies within a 50 foot radius after each airstrike. The prize for this option is five mysterious shards.

Where to find mysterious shards in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Eight shards can be collected from the bodies of Order representatives patrolling Baghdad. Using the special vision helps identify these targets. Players may encounter the necessary fighters during main story progress or side tasks. Each Order member is accompanied by a squad of ordinary warriors. The simplest tactic is to deploy smoke bombs, or players can choose to steal a shard without killing anyone.
Order members appear at random within the city, so careful area scouting is key. When a person with the shard is spotted through the special vision, their position is indicated on the map.
Maps have been prepared to show approximate locations of the shard-bearing fighters around Baghdad. Outside of Baghdad, two additional shards can be found. One is with a police officer in Jarjarayi, a southern city. The second lies in Anbar, toward the northwest, near a landmark that helps players orient themselves in the area.
