Xiaomi has unveiled plans to roll out HyperOS firmware to five Poco smartphones, according to reports from Gizmochina.
Between April and June, Poco F4, M4 Pro, C65, M6, and X6 Neo owners are expected to receive the update. The X6 Neo, released in March 2024, arrived with MIUI 14 based on Android 13 for reasons not fully explained, leading to questions about its software path.
Additionally, Xiaomi noted that it has already updated several other Poco models in certain regions. The list includes the Poco C55, M4 5G, M5, M6 Pro, X5, X5 Pro, X6, X6 Pro, and F5, reflecting an ongoing push to unify the user experience across devices.
HyperOS is presented as the successor to MIUI 14, with a focus on consolidating Xiaomi, Poco, and Redmi devices into a single ecosystem. The update emphasizes smoother performance and a set of new features designed to enhance everyday use. The current HyperOS build is said to be based on Android 14 and shows a refreshed visual language compared with MIUI 14, aiming to streamline navigation and responsiveness for users.
