The Xiaomi chief, Lu Weibing, opted to stay with the budget Redmi Note 12 Turbo instead of moving to the brand’s new flagship device. This decision was reported by the iXBT online outlet.

Meanwhile, Weibing has rolled out an official advertising campaign for the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra photo flagship, which is scheduled to be revealed on April 18. The phone is the product of a collaboration between Xiaomi and Leica and is expected to rank among the best camera phones available. Yet Weibing shows no intention of abandoning the Redmi Note 12 Turbo in favor of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra at this stage.

According to iXBT, Weibing continues to share updates on the Weibo social network using the budget device and has voiced satisfaction with the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. Historically, the head of the company would often switch to the latest Xiaomi flagships, but this time he has chosen to use the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which was launched toward the end of March.

Earlier reports from socialbites.ca noted that AnTuTu developers consider the Red Magic 8 Pro+ to be among the most powerful Android smartphones on the market.
