Xiaomi is preparing to roll out an Android 15 update to its devices even before the official release of the software, with the plan reportedly in motion as early as 2024. Poco devices are also on the list, with owners of the Poco F4 GT, X5 Pro 5G, M6 Pro, and other contemporary models anticipated to obtain the Android 15-based firmware as the rollout progresses.
Android 15 is currently available to developers in a beta form, with the full stable release anticipated no sooner than autumn 2024. Google Pixel smartphones are expected to be among the first to ship the new firmware, followed by other manufacturers as their own adaptation layers and MIUI, RealUI, or companion skins are prepared for the update. As a result, owners of premium Xiaomi devices can expect Android 15 to reach the market by late 2024, with broader availability across the ecosystem continuing into 2025.
