In Geekbench 5 benchmarks, the Vivo X100 powered by the Dimensity 9300 processor posted 1642 points in single-core tests and 7199 in multi-core tests. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra with the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chip recorded 912 points in single-core and 3284 points in multi-core. The results highlight a clear advantage for MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 in multi-core performance, signaling a notable leap over Qualcomm’s previous-generation solution.
The Dimensity 9300 is slated for an official launch on November 7. Early rumors suggest the chip will feature an eight-core design, including one Cortex-X4 core at 3.25 GHz, three Cortex-X4 cores at 2.85 GHz, and four Cortex-A720 cores at 2.0 GHz. Graphics duties are assigned to the Mali-G720 GPU, which is expected to deliver capable visuals for modern mobile workloads.
The Vivo X100 family, anticipated to include the X100 Pro and X100 Pro+ variants, is projected to arrive on November 13, continuing Vivo’s push into high-end Android flagships.
Earlier chatter crowned the lineup as among the world’s most powerful Android devices in its segment, underscoring Vivo’s aim to compete at the top end of the market.
