TCL launches V8H Pro 2024 4K TV series in China with three screen sizes
The TCL brand has begun selling its new 4K TV lineup, the V8H Pro 2024, in the Chinese market. The launch comes with a price starting at 2099 yuan, which is roughly 26.7 thousand rubles. Details were reported by the ITHome portal.
The V8H Pro 2024 series comprises three models, available in 55, 65, and 75 inches. The entry price is 2099 yuan, followed by 2799 yuan for the 65-inch model and 3799 yuan for the 75-inch version. In local currency terms, these translate to about 26.7 thousand rubles, 35.7 thousand rubles, and 48.4 thousand rubles respectively. The lineup is positioned as a mid-to-upper tier offering within TCL’s 2024 catalog.
All three displays share a 4K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. They support MEMC and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) technologies to improve motion clarity, especially during fast-paced scenes. The devices also boast an extended color gamut reaching up to 130% of the BT.709 standard, enhancing color richness and image depth. TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification accompanies these TVs, signaling attention to eye comfort during extended viewing sessions.
Under the hood, the V8H Pro 2024 models are powered by a 12-nanometer processor featuring five Arm Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.9 GHz, paired with an Arm Mali-G57 MC1 GPU. The system includes 64 GB of internal storage and 3 GB of RAM, offering a balance between app capacity and performance for typical smart TV use and multimedia playback.
In terms of connectivity, the V8H Pro 2024 family provides two HDMI 2.1 ports, along with USB-A ports—one 3.0 and one 2.0. A wired Ethernet (RJ-45) port ensures stable network connectivity for streaming and online services. Notably, TCL indicates that these TVs are not planned for sale outside of China, reinforcing a region-specific release strategy for this lineup.
