Samsung has confirmed through its official blog that Galaxy AI’s intelligence-powered features will extend beyond phones to the company’s smart wearables, bringing smarter capabilities to wrists and more across its lineup.

Reports indicate that Galaxy AI will be adapted to run on the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Fit fitness bands, with plans to extend compatibility to the Galaxy Ring as well. The exact device models set to receive these updates has not been disclosed, leaving room for a phased rollout across compatible wearables.

Samsung executive Tae Moon Ro has stated that, in the near future, Galaxy wearables will sport artificial intelligence designed to strengthen digital health tracking and open a new era of advanced smart health management. The goal, he suggests, is to help users monitor wellness more precisely and act on insights in real time.

Ro emphasized that today’s Galaxy AI is only the starting point, hinting at a pipeline of ideas and concepts that are still to be implemented. This signals Samsung’s commitment to evolving the technology as hardware capabilities grow and user needs expand.

With the launch of the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy AI features became available to smartphone users. These tools enable rewriting text in different styles, pulling summaries from lengthy content, transcribing voice recordings, and more. It remains to be seen which of these capabilities will make their way into wearables, but the potential for on-device AI to assist daily tasks and health monitoring is clear.

Meanwhile, industry observers note that the smartwatch space is evolving quickly—evidence seen in newer designs from various brands, including OnePlus, which has introduced its own take on a modern smartwatch. The broader trend is clear: AI features are moving closer to the wearables market, enabling smarter coaching, easier information access, and more personalized experiences on smaller screens.
