Rumored iPhone 16 Pro Camera Redesign Sparkes Fresh Discussion

Apple is reportedly testing an iPhone 16 Pro prototype with a refreshed camera unit design. A well-known insider using the alias Majin Bu shared this update on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, sparking wide attention.

To illustrate the rumor, the insider posted an image showing the iPhone 15 Pro beside a schematic of the proposed camera module. The schematic suggests the three lenses of the iPhone 16 Pro may be arranged at the vertices of a triangle, forming a distinctive geometric pattern where each lens sits at a corner.

“From what I can gather, the iPhone 16 Pro appears to carry a new camera module design,” the insider wrote. The post also includes a caption with the word шфотографии, which appears to be a transliteration meaning photos that hint at the new design. The message rapidly drew more than a million views on X within a single day.

Apple has historically experimented with multiple camera layouts. The current design, featuring two lenses aligned vertically with a third lens offset to the right, has appeared in several prior iPhone models. This layout first debuted with the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max, introduced in 2019, and later appeared in various generations before the 2020s iteration.

There is also chatter about Apple evaluating OLED display options for MacBook models in collaboration with Samsung, which has kept investors and tech enthusiasts watching Apple’s broader hardware roadmap.
