Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Watch 4, a budget-friendly smartwatch that pairs a sizable display with strong durability and an accessible price point for everyday use.

The Redmi Watch 4 features a metal chassis, a 1.97 inch AMOLED panel, and a crisp 450×390 pixel resolution. It refreshes at 60 Hz and supports an Always-on Display, ensuring quick, glanceable information. The device comes with more than 200 watch faces, making customization easy for users who want a personal touch on their wearable. Its build quality, combined with a sharp screen, positions it as a practical option for daily wear, workouts, and casual moments alike.

In terms of health and activity tracking, the Redmi Watch 4 delivers a broad suite of sensors and modes. It can monitor more than 150 different workouts and records essential metrics such as heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, sleep quality, and stress levels, among other indicators. The watch also includes an NFC module for convenient contactless payments and is rated for water resistance up to 5 atmospheres, making it suitable for swimming and other water activities as well as everyday splash protection. This blend of fitness tracking and smart features offers a well-rounded experience for health-conscious users who want a capable companion on their wrist.

According to the manufacturer, Redmi Watch 4 can last up to 20 days on typical usage, about 10 days with Always-on Display enabled, and up to 30 days in standby mode. Real-world endurance will vary based on settings, sensor usage, and notification activity, but the claimed longevity is compelling for a device in this price range, reducing the need for frequent recharges and supporting longer periods between charges during travel or busy days.

Redmi Watch 4 is available in China with a price tag of 499 yuan, which translates to roughly 6,200 rubles in some markets. At this time, there has been no formal announcement about a wider, international rollout beyond China, though global availability or regional launches could follow as Xiaomi expands its wearable lineup to new markets and price tiers.

Earlier, Xiaomi released a smartphone noted for its exceptionally bright display, underscoring the company’s emphasis on vivid visuals and strong screen performance across its product range. This history of ambitious display quality complements Redmi Watch 4’s emphasis on a sharp, readable screen and a bright, responsive user interface on a wearable platform.
